Design Trend 2015: Navy

Navy utilized as a neutral is right on trend in the design world. It is a rich, saturated hue that makes a statement in any space and can be incorporated in many different ways, from furniture to accent walls and even cabinetry. 

Thinking out of the box, try a bold navy shade on your ceiling for added drama. Navy base cabinets in your kitchen give a cottage, nautical feeling and soften the space.  Accent your room with yellow and gold shades to compliment your bold shades of navy.

Mix and match: Lamps

There is nothing that I love more then having symmetry in a design but the idea of having two different lamps in one space is very unique and exciting to the eye. To achieve this look, choose two lamps with similar style and shade colour and this is the key in creating a uniform design.
