Artwork is a necessary part of any room and is used to bring pops of color, create a focal point, define a style and give the space a unique, personal quality. MOST pieces of artwork are very expensive and when you are designing on a budget it is hard to find the perfect piece that is under budget. If you are anything like me, artwork is something that you like to change out every couple months to freshen up the look of your room and it is much easier to do that when you know you haven't spent a fortune on it.
I have always been very crafty and love to know that I have saved a bunch of money by creating my own artwork.
To create your own stunning artwork for less, all you need is a printed wallpaper or gift wrap and a matted frame or canvas.
* Go to your local paint & wallpaper supplier and find the perfect print that will coordinate with your room.
* Mount the wallpaper in your frame and it is that easy!
If you love a patterned wallpaper and aren't quite ready to commit, you can stretch a piece over a canvas and create a major statement.
Mix and match different patterns and hang multiple to give a more eclectic look.
Happy crafting!
