 Gone are the days of floral wallpaper plastered on every single wall of your house. Wallpaper is back but utilized in an accent wall to either add a splash of colour or an eye catching pattern.

Selecting the right scale of pattern for your space can be tricky. You always need to remember, if you have a small space a smaller scaled pattern is best. If you have high ceilings or a large room then an oversize print will fill the space perfectly.

To determine which wall to use as your accent wall, make sure it is exactly where you want to draw everyone's attention. You should be able to walk into the space and see this wall before any other. For instance, in a bedroom, your accent wall would be the wall your headboard sits on.

If you decide to pick a bold wallpaper for your space, pair it with subtle accessories and even try adding a large statement mirror to open up the space and add a touch of sparkle.
